Why Salt Lake City?
Salt Lake County is marked by equal parts beauty and darkness. Home to stunning mountain views, world-class recreation, and a booming business and tech industry, it is also a city far from Jesus. Salt Lake County is home to the headquarters of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, as well as a strong counter-culture with no interest in organized religion.
The fifth fastest-growing city in the U.S., Salt Lake City has over 2 million people living in the metro area and is projected to double in coming years. Sadly, less than 3% of the population professes a life-changing, eternity-altering relationship with Jesus Christ. Salt Lake City is a vibrant, growing city in need of an ever-growing gospel-presence.
Ryan and Tami met in 2001 while working at Starbucks together. They married in 2005 and now have three children: Ava, Ryder, and Lincoln, as well as a dog named Wicket (obviously named after the most famous Ewok from Return of the Jedi).
After serving as a worship pastor for three years, Ryan and Tami planted Redemption Bible Church in 2009 in the suburbs of Chicago, where they served for seven years. In 2016, they packed up and moved to Hickory, NC where Ryan became the Senior Pastor of Harvest Bible Chapel. After fifteen months of service, the church had grown by over 300 people and Ryan and Tami began to sense a call to plant again.
In the fall of 2017, the Huguleys head out again for a new adventure — to plant Ridgeline Church in Salt Lake County.
Pray for the Huguleys, the team, and Ridgeline Church.

We are currently in the pre-launch phase and are working diligently to get the church legally established and 501c3 status attained. Until that happens in early fall of 2017, all gifts will be given to Ridgeline Church in care of Redemption Bible Church as they are our primary sending church. This ensures that all gifts are tax-deductible as Redemption Bible Church is an approved 501c3 organization. For any questions regarding this partnership, please contact us.
As you click the button below and are redirected to the giving portal, please consider giving via bank transfer. Credit/Debit card fees are costly and we are only charged a 25 cent fee on bank transfers regardless of the size of the gift. You can also mail a check to our sending church: Redemption Bible Church 350 W. Kensington Rd. Suite 106 Mount Prospect, IL 60056. Please make sure to include “Ridgeline Church” in the memo of your check.
